???? Experience the Magic of Mid-Winter Christmas in Greytown!
When winter chills set in across New Zealand, Greytown transforms into a dazzling wonderland known as the New Zealand Festival of Christmas. Returning from 27 June to 25 July 2026, this month-long bonanza brings a heartwarming infusion of joy, lights, snow, and festive spirit to one of Aotearoaโs most charming heritage towns (greytownvillage.com).
This year, the festival is back with a brand-new theme for 2026: A Very Country Christmas! Get your Christmas jumpers (and gumboots) ready for a rural-spiced celebration full of glowing lights, crackling braziers, and incredible small-town hospitality.
